Sammataro & Friends Branding
Sammataro is a pizza restaurant in Austin, TX. They wanted to open a second location that served elevated Italian staples and wine. They approached me to help with logo creation, along with some signage and merch.
I pitched two concepts, Archive Italian based on classic Italian cafe signage and Chunky Modern which leaned into more playful, chunky type and colors. In the end we went with the Chunky Modern route.
